Entre Ángeles y Milagros: El Susurro de la Eternidad

Posted on 17 September 2012

Bueno… ¿Adivina qué? Las fuerzas creativas tenían un plan diferente.

What 1 Dollar Can Do

Posted on 12 February 2012

The spot What 1 Dollar Can Do help us remember that one dollar can do a lot more than what we think. It may get us from a cup of coffee to a meal, depending of where we are. Sometimes we hesitate to give when we convince ourselves that giving just one dollar to a person or a cause is worthless. It is not. The only worthless help that we may offer is the one that we don’t offer. An ocean is full of drops of water.

What 1 Smile Can Do

Posted on 20 January 2012

What 1 Smile Can Do helps us remember the healing power of smiling. In every role get to play in this lovely play call life, we always get the chance to be the smiling face. The character that chooses laughter over bitterness or irony. After all, what’s more creative, empowering and loving than a smile? Hard to say. With a smile, we get to give and receive comfort, affection, acknowledgement, support, warmth and beauty.

Oremos. DIOS Glorioso.

Posted on 18 December 2011

diga, piense y haga te honre, mi amor.

bad-hair-day

Sweet & Short… Re-felt Anger!

Posted on 21 May 2011

Around 35 years ago, your best friend made fun of you in front of your classmates simply because you were having an extremely bad hair day. Till these days you:

a) Wish her death.

b) Cry every time you remember that nightmare.

c) Pretend you don’t care but, since then, very carefully, you monitor your hairstyle to make sure every hair is in the right place.

d) Hardly think about it. That was the last time you cared about her. Her cruelty ruined your friendship -and your self esteem.

e) Any and all of the above.

Transforming Compassion in Science and Religion

Posted on 20 May 2011

“Science without religion is lame,

religion without science is blind.”

– Albert Einstein

Dopamine is part of a reward system that is important in human and animal behavior, and dopamine levels are elevated in the brain when we experience pleasure or well being. Pleasure is associated both with the anticipation of activities essential to survival—for example, eating and sex—and with the activities themselves.

Practical Spirituality: Personal Interpretation of Sacred Texts… Now Matthew 6.19-21

Posted on 20 May 2011

19Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

–MATTHEW 6.19-21

This Jesus’ teaching serves me to remember that anything and everything that I can either see or touch will never be the source of my genuine and permanent joy and peace. The material world has been designed to undergo transformation, change, construction and destruction. The only permanent aspect of the material world is its inconsistency.

Sweet & Short… A Rose!

Posted on 18 May 2011

When you see the following image,

how does it resonate with you?

a) Do you remember the kid who broke your heart for the very first time?

b) Do you think about the cruel bitch that stole your first husband 20 years ago?

c) In the middle of May, do you keep repeating to yourself that this year you should not forget your best friend’s birthday in September?

d) It remains you that by the end of this month, after you pay all your bills, you will not have enough money to give to yourself the freaky rose that your life coach told you to get for you. Of course, you think, if you had a man…

e) You feel definitely crucified between the past and the future when you see this goddamned rose!

Sweet & Short… The Look!

Posted on 18 May 2011

You are visiting the big apple for the first time. You are as single as you can be -again- and decided to treat yourself flying to and spending a whole week in what you consider to be the main city of the whole world. Suddenly, from nowhere, a cute man gives you “the look.” What happens then?

a) Do you believe he would be the perfect candidate for your sister Mary?

b) He sort of remains you the guy who sat next to you in the airplane, looking sad and distant, probably overwhelmed by the vicissitudes of life and whose attention you desperately tried to catch with no success.

c) He looks just like Ed, your best friend’s ex husband! He’s probably an egomaniac with an inferiority complex.

d) Even though he seems to be staring at you, you believe he must be looking at someone else. He’s cute, sexy, interesting and wild but… you don’t believe you may be his type and, of course, he’s not yours!

Practical Spirituality: Personal Interpretation of Sacred Texts… Now Psalm 23

Posted on 10 May 2011

There’s so much beauty and magnificence in the sacred teachings of the different religions. And there is so much Truth. Nevertheless, in order for me to truly taste them and enjoy them, I choose to interpret them from a personal perspective. For example, the Psalm 23 from the Hebrew Bible is a beautiful prayer but… what does it mean to me?
